In accordance with the Constitution, the Senate has responsibility for advice and consent to ratification of a treaty with another nation that has been negotiated and agreed to by the Executive Branch. For treaties in force from 1997 to the present, go to http://www.state.gov/s/l/treaty/c3428.htm.
