As with most websites, changes to this Privacy Policy will occur within the discretion of the Site, and advance notice of any changes will be posted on this website under the heading "Legal Usage." This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with the Terms of Use.
1. Personal Information. Users may browse portions of this Site without entering any personal information and will therefore remain anonymous. To access most of the information on this Site, however, the user must go through the registration process. The user may choose to register for a free trial subscription or one which will require the user to enter payment information such as a credit card number.
2. Web Server Logs. CharitablePlanning.com logs IP addresses, browser types, and access times, but does not link this information to any personally identifiable information except when administration or security issues arise regarding the use of this Site.
3. Cookies. Almost every website that requires users to sign-in uses cookies to identify these users. The user's browser manages cookies on the user's hard drive. Our Site uses cookies to identify users after they have signed-in with their username and password. These cookies do not contain personal information, and are just random strings of characters and letters. Advertisers on our Site may use cookies, but their usage of cookies is not covered under the CharitablePlanning.com Privacy Policy. If you set your browser set to "reject all cookies," you will not be able to access significant data on this Site.
4. Use of Information Collected by CharitablePlanning.com. However, no storage or transmission of data is completely secure, and consequently this Site does not warrant the security of any information on or transmitted from or to the Site. Terms of Use
The following terms and conditions govern your use of CharitablePlanning.com (or "Site"). Use of this Site is conditioned on your complete acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions and notices contained herein ("Terms of Use"). Your use of this Site contractually obligates you to abide by these Terms of Use.
Unique license and corresponding policies. CharitablePlanning.com allows users to view some areas of the Site without participating in the registration process. For those users desiring to access additional and more comprehensive material, they must register with the Site and obtain a valid username and password. For certain levels of access, users must pay. Submission of an unauthorized payment or false payment information will be considered a violation of these Terms of Use and may result in immediate termination of your right to use the Site. Subscription fees are subject to change without notice but any change in fees will not affect a user until the next subscription period.
If you register on the Site, the username and password you receive upon registration is an individual, nontransferable license to utilize the services and materials provided by CharitablePlanning.com. It is your responsibility to keep this information private and prevent others from accessing the Site in violation of these Terms of Use. Any violation of these Terms of Use either individually or by others accessing the Site via your unique username and password may result in, at the discretion of CharitablePlanning.com, an immediate termination of your right to use this Site. Violation of the foregoing terms may also result in a collection of appropriate user fees per unauthorized user at the discretion of CharitablePlanning.com. CharitablePlanning.com reserves the right at all times to monitor the use of the Site to ensure compliance with these Terms of Use. CharitablePlanning.com reserves the right to refuse registration to any individual or entity for any reason or for no reason.
Paid Subscription Renewal, Cancellation and Refund Policies. Upon registration and payment, you authorize CharitablePlanning.com to automatically renew and continue your subscription until termination by you or CharitablePlanning.com. You will receive renewal reminders prior to being charged for each renewal. In the event that CharitablePlanning.com is unable to process your credit card payment, CharitablePlanning.com will notify you via email in an attempt to resolve the problem.
You may cancel your subscription at any time after registration. Please be advised, however, that in no case will refunds be permitted and your subscription will remain active until the end of the period for which you paid. At the remainder of that period, your subscription will no longer be in effect and will not automatically renew.
Upon cancellation, all data associated with the User will remain on the CharitablePlanning.com server. Access to this data is subject to an active subscription.
Copyright. Aside from material that resides in the public domain, all content, including but not limited to graphics, articles, commentary, compilations, and design, are the exclusive property of CharitablePlanning.com. CharitablePlanning.com reserves all copyright and intellectual property rights to such material. You are permitted to view, download, copy and print, for your personal use only, the material contained on the Site so long as you do not modify or alter the content and you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices. You are prohibited from using any software, robot, spider or other automatic or manual device to monitor or copy any material contained on the Site. You are prohibited from distributing, modifying, transmitting, or utilizing in any public or commercial manner, material provided by CharitablePlanning.com even if that material is otherwise available in the public domain. Any suit involving any dispute or matter arising under these Terms of Use may only be brought in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland or any Maryland State Court within Baltimore County, Maryland having jurisdiction over the subject matter of the dispute or matter. You hereby consent to the exercise of personal jurisdiction by any such court with respect to any such proceeding.
In any mediation, arbitration, suit or other action arising out of or in connection with any of the terms, covenants or provisions of these Terms of Use, you agree that all attorneys' fees, costs and any other expenses incurred or accrued directly or indirectly in connection therewith shall be paid by the party who is (or the parties who are) found by the arbitrator or court to have breached these Terms of Use in addition to any equitable relief or damages and/or costs awarded at law; provided that if more than one party is found to have breached the terms of these Terms of Use, the court shall award all such attorneys' fees, costs and expenses to the party who is found to be the least at fault.
These Terms of Use may be amended or changed from time to time without notice. It is your responsibility to check back with this page to ensure compliance with the current Terms of Use. If you choose not to accept the changes made to the Site you must discontinue use of the Site immediately.
