Roth IRA
A term to know.
A type of IRA, named after Senator William Roth (D-DE) and created by the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997. This type of IRA allows earnings to grow and be distributed income tax free, but contributions thereto are not tax deductible. Numerous other rules apply.
