Biography
George E. Willock began his professional career in the estate and financial planning professions, spending 15 years in these professional sectors prior to entering the charitable sector where he specialized in planned giving. Transitioning to the charitable sector, Mr. Willock created his firm which he owned and operated for eight years as an independent consultant to charities before joining Auburn University as the Director of Planned Giving. Working in this capacity with Auburn University for 14 years, he and his team raised over $600 million in planned gifts with $98 million of those gifts through charitable life insurance. Mr. Willock has completed his Chartered Life Underwriter's (CLU) designation, the Life Underwriter's Training Council Fellowship (LUTCF) designation, is a graduate of the National Planned Giving Institute (NPGI), completed the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation, has earned the Accredited Estate Planner's (AEP) designation, and is a TRACOM Certified SOCIAL STYLE & Versatility Instructor.
Currently Mr. Willock is a partner in Willock Wellness and Leadership Coaching, LLC, where he coaches individuals and teams in developing leadership character and skills; specializing in Social Intelligence. Social Intelligence consists of Emotional Intelligence, Mindset, and Behavioral Style training.
